Cedar Street Sales & Rental must be notified immediately if rented equipment cannot be used for any reason whatsoever or full rental charge will apply.

The rental period starts at the time the rental contract is signed by the rentee or his representative and ends only when the complete rental item is returned and checked in. Rental charges are based on total time out with running time restrictions: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, 160 hours per month. We charge for all time out including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Applies to some rental units. It’s a 5-hour period. Any overtime will be charged at daily rate.
24 hours from checkout to check-in. Based on an 8-hour shift.
7 consecutive days. Based on a 40-hour week.
28 days from time date out.
Item picked up after 4:00 p.m. on Friday and returned before 8:00 a.m. the following Monday. Rental rate is 1-1/2 times the Daily Rate. Weekend Rates do not apply to all items.
Deposits, rental fees and materials taken with rental unit are all payable in advance. Deposit returned if unit is returned complete and in proper condition. Customers with open accounts are invoiced at net 10 days.
The rentee is responsible for the care, safety and maintenance of the rented items from the time the rental item is picked up until it is returned to our store. Our insurance does not cover rented items when out of our building. If the rental item is lost or damaged during the rental period the rentee is liable for all incurred charges including the replacement or repair of any equipment.
With no exceptions, the rentee or his representative (whoever signs the contract) must show two forms of identification, one being a current NYS Driver’s License, the other being a major credit card or picture I.D.
